WACO’s Chad Edeker to Coach South Shrine Bowl Team

WACO’s Chad Edeker has been named the head coach of the 2024 Iowa Shrine Bowl. Edeker will be coaching the south team, which is made up of senior football players from across the state, on July 20 at the UNI-Dome. Coach Kal Goodchild of Benton Community will lead the North Team. Two area athletes have accepted invitations to play in the game, Jake Moore of Sigourney and Colton Leichty of Waco in the July game.
