In an effort to support our students and families food needs during this time away from school, they are offering a bagged meal program through Friday April 30th, 2020. FCSD Food Service Staff partnering with the FCSD Transportation Dept. will be working to make sure ALL of our the children in our community age 2 -18 have FREE Breakfast and FREE Lunch available to them during this school closure.
Meals will be available for pick up in the parking lots at the following locations and times.
Monday pick up will include breakfast and lunch for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday pick up will include breakfast and lunch for Thursday and Friday.
Remaining pick up dates will be:

Monday April 13th
Thursday April 16th
Monday April 20th
Thursday April 23rd
Monday April 27th
Thursday April 30th
Pick up locations are:
Fairfield Middle School- 404 W Fillmore Ave, Fairfield 11:00 – Noon
Washington Elementary- 406 E Madison Ave, Fairfield, 11:00 – 11:20 a.m.
Fairfield High School – 605 E Broadway Ave, Fairfield, IA 11:30 – 11:50 a.m.
Lincoln Center- 401 W Stone Ave, Fairfield, IA Noon – 12:30 p.m.
Pekin Community School is offering food to families in need during this time of closure. All Children ages 2 through 18 are eligible for this program at no charge.
Hedrick Civic Center Gym 5-6pm Mondays and Wednesdays
Ollie Park Shelter house Mondays and Wednesdays
Packwood Friendship Park South Main Street 5-6 pm Mondays and Wednesdays
Richland Shelter @ City square 5-6 pm Mondays and Wednesdays

Van Buren County school district provided this information:
Starting on Wednesday, April 15 we will hand out 5 meals thus beginning a once per week meal pick up plan. Locations will remain the same; Van Buren Jr/Sr High School, Milton City Park, Stockport City Park, Bonaparte Old Elementary School, Douds Elementary, Wild Rose Shelter in Farmington, Hillsboro City Park, Birmingham City Park, and the Cantril City Park next to the ball field. If you had previously not signed up for student meals, and now need them, please reach out to the district office at 319-293-3334. They ask that you continue to practice social distancing and remember this is a drive thru pick up. If you are ill or are showing symptoms they ask that you send someone else in your place to pick up the food.
