Friday Football Results/Playoff Schedules
An early dose of momentum helped Solon to a 42-6 runaway past Fairfield Friday. Solon opened with a 14-0 advantage over Fairfield through the first quarter. The Spartans registered a 28-0 advantage at halftime over the Trojans. Neither team could dent the scoreboard in the third quarter. The Spartans got the better of the fourth-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 14-6 edge. Solon improved to 7-1 on the season and 4-0 in district play while Fairfield dropped to 3-5 and 1-3 in district games.
