Fairfield lions club white cane awareness day

Raising funds to go towards all we do for eyesight. Purchasing glasses for the under privileged, kid sight program(early detection of pre school eye problems) . collecting old glasses and lenses to be reused in other countries. To remind people about the white cane and what it’s used for. To increase the awareness of the network of eye health organizations concerned with diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, AMD and low vision. Also will be collecting pop tabs to go to the Ronald McDonald house in Iowa City. event will be at HyVee food Store in Fairfield.
