Assumption Ends Trojan Volleyball Season

#4 Davenport Assumption was too much for Fairfield last night in the Class 3A Regional Volleyball Semifinals last night. Assumption took straight sets 25/15 – 25/9 and 25/17. The Trojans were led again by Sr. Maddie Jones with 17 assists, Lilly Bergren 9 Kills and Savannah Hollander 9 Digs. The Trojans end their season at 20 and 12.
In other Volleyball action last night, it was Clear Creek Amana over Keokuk 3-0, Iowa City Liberty over Ottumwa 3-2 and Oskaloosa topping Burlington 3-0.
Wednesday night late results saw Wilton over Van Buren 3-0,
West Burlington 3-0 over Cardinal
Sigourney 3-1 over Belle Plaine
EBF 3 Pella 0
Central City over WACO 3-0
