Two Way Restoration Vote Fails As Council Deadlocks 3-3

The Fairfield City Council met in regular session on Monday night where voted on two way downtown street restoration. The vote failed as the council  was deadlocked 3-3. Council Members Halley, Gandy and Rasmussen voted in favor of the project, while council members Thompson, Flournoy and Anderson voted against. Darien Sloat from the Chamber shared results of a survey he conducted where 37 of 38 downtown businesses were in favor of the restoration.
