A routine traffic stop in Ottumwa last week turned up nearly 90 grams of meth and more than $2,500 in cash leading to the arrest of two Ottumwa men and a Fairfield woman. Last Wednesday morning Ottumwa police pulled over a vehicle being driven by 36 year old Chad Robert Houck of Ottumwa, who was wanted on probation violation. During a search of the vehicle, police located approximately 88.7 grams of meth, as well as $2,580 in cash leading to Houck’s arrest.
Two passengers in the vehicle 24 year old Christian Dennis Martinez of Ottumwa, and 25 year old Jessilee Nicole Rooney of Fairfield, were both charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. Rooney also had a warrant out for her arrest for failure to appear in court.
