The trial for David Nordyke lll, the Agency man and Afgan war veteran accused of shooting his father at the family home in July has been delayed indefinitely. Nordyke is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly shooting his father in the hip. This past Fall he was released from custody without bond, on the condition that he undergo a thorough in-patient psychiatric evaluation at the V.A. Hospital in Iowa City. Family members believe that he suffers from PTSD. A pre-trial conference has been set for January 21st.
