Jefferson County was one of 23 Counties to recently decline their vaccine allotment from the state, which requires Counties to use 80% of their allotment or face penalties such as not receiving future shipment. Jefferson County Public Health, who normally receives 300 doses of the Moderna vaccine, was able to administer all 900 doses of a one time shipment they secured in late March. JCHC, however, is ready for their next vaccine clinic. Call their COVID-19 hotline at 641-469-4180 to check appointment availability and schedule your time.
