The execution of a search warrant earlier this month has landed an Ottumwa man in jail facing felony drug charges. 33 year old Trace Dyer was taken into custody after the search of a residence on Madison Ave in Ottumwa turned up an undisclosed amount of marijuana, several pipes containing drug residue, scales, packaging materials and more than 7 grams of meth. Dyer was arrested and charged with a controlled substance violation, a class “B” Felony, failure to affix a drug tax stamp a “D” Felony. In addition he was charged with 2 aggravated misdemeanors for possession of a controlled substance, which was his 2nd Offense. He was transported to the Wapello County Jail and held on a $30,000 bond.
