A Henry County man’s pattern of violating his probation continues and as a result has been ordered to spend the next 6 months in a residential treatment facility. 26 year old Tanner Waterhouse of Rome was ordered to stay the next 180 days at the Ottumwa Facility after being arrested in late January for a violation on the original class D felony charge of OWI, 3rd or subsequent offense. Waterhouse must also pay restitution for attorney fees and costs of prosecution in an amount to be assessed by the Clerk of Court in Washington County.
Waterhouse was originally sentenced to two years probation in May of 2019 for an offense stemming from a September 2018 incident. This is also not the first time he’s been ordered to spend time in a residential facility as he was previously sentenced to serve 180 days there this past September and 90 days in jail in December of 2019 for previous probation violations.
