Pekin Grad Keaton Winn Notches First MLB Win

Colorado jumped out to a 3-0 lead against San Francisco rookie right-hander and former Pekin Panther Keaton Winn Sunday afternoon, but the Giants battled back to 6-3 win. Winn earned his first career victory after giving up three runs on five hits and struck out 9 over six innings in his third Major League start and his first since July 4. Winn opened his start with a 1-2-3 first inning, though he had an injury scare in the second after he was struck on the left knee by a 108.4 mph comebacker, but stayed in the game to get the win, which gives him a 1-2 record with 1 save.
