The Lord’s Cupboard of Jefferson County will reopen its lobby this coming Monday, May 3rd with the outside Service Window no longer in operation. With Covid-19 cases still present in Iowa, it is required that every visitor wears a mask and to help with distancing, there will be a limit of 4 people in the lobby at once.
Open hours will remain Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 1:00pm to 3:30pm. The appointment system will be shut down as there are now enough volunteers to handle walk-in clients. All clients who have appointments already scheduled should either keep those appointments as scheduled or call 641-472-8457 to cancel.
Low-income residents of Jefferson County are encouraged to utilize The Lord’s Cupboard to help restock food and supplies. More information regarding income limits, location, and hours is available on the website LordsCupboard.org.
Donations of food (within its date) are gratefully accepted at The Lord’s Cupboard, 303 North 4th Street in Fairfield. Canned proteins are always needed.
