The Jury selection process begins at 9am this morning in a Wapello County Court for co-defendants Michael Paul Bibby and Dalton Cook. The two men face multiple attempted murder charges that stem from an August 2018 shootout with Ottumwa Police following a robbery gone bad. One of their accomplices was killed in the gunfire exchange with police, the other has plead guilty to their role in the incident. Bibby and Cook each face 10 charges of attempted murder, as well as charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and willful injury. All charges are class B felonies.
