Jefferson County Board Of Supervisors Pass Property Tax Dollar Proposal, Set’s Public Hearing On FY22 Budget

The Jefferson County Board Of Supervisors met in a regular session on Monday morning where they passed the property tax dollar proposal not to exceed $5,581,025 for General County services and $1,031,194 for rural County services. Supervisor Daryn Hamilton said the Board worked extremely hard, overcoming some significant hurdles to get within the 2% allowable growth, with $136K in Covid relief funds providing a late boost. A date and time for a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2022 budget was set for Monday March 29th at 9:30am.
