Iowa’s June Housing Statistics

The Iowa Association of Realtors have released their June housing Statistics. According to official data, Amid the national shortage of inventory, June saw 4,225 single-family homes listed, a decrease of 16.7% from the 5,072 homes on the market in June of 2022. The month-to-month stats for June showed some progress, though small, with available homes representing a 4.8% increase from the inventory available in May. However when compared to last year home sales declined with 3,765 homes sold, a 15% decrease from the 4,429 sold in June of 2022. With a median sales price of $235,125. 

According to the available data, Jefferson County sold 19 single-family homes with a total of 45 on the market. And a median sales price of $220,000. There were no townhouse condos sold in Jefferson County.
