A Henry County woman was rescued by first responders on Sunday after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a creek and came to rest on it’s side trapping her inside. 44 year old Rebecca Nichols of Winfield, was driving about a half mile south of the City when the accident occurred. Responders were able to get her free and she was checked at the scene where there were no visible injuries. Nichols was able to leave the scene requiring no further medical assistance. The vehicle didn’t make it out quite so well as damages were estimated around $5,000.
