Grace Davidson Named As New Jefferson County Youth Coordinator

ISU Extension and Outreach Jefferson County have announced that Grace Davidson has been named as the new Jefferson County Youth Coordinator. Grace recently graduated from Iowa State University majoring in Animal Science with a minor in Agriculture Education. She has always shown a great passion for 4-H, first as a nine-year Henry County 4-H member, then through internships with the State 4-H Office and ISU Extension and Outreach – Warren County. Grace also briefly worked for The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, FL as a cast member on the Kilimanjaro Safari. She is delighted to be starting her new chapter of life with Jefferson County as your County Youth Coordinator.

She currently resides in Mount Pleasant and is involved with Midwest Old Threshers and Relay For Life. When Grace has free time you can find her reading, watching movies, and taking care of her ewes, ducks, cats, and dogs.

Grace is excited to get to know the youth of Jefferson County along with helping them grow to be leaders in their community. She also is excited to help get youth involved in 4-H! Her first official day on the job will be this coming Monday May 18th.
