Fairfield School District Continue Bond Issue Efforts

The Fairfield Community School District continues to collect signatures to have a bond issue placed on a September ballot to ask residents to approve $34 million authorizing the district to contract indebtedness and issue General Obligation Bonds to construct, furnish and equip a new middle school. The funds would also be used to not only construct the building, but also furnish and equip it along with new tennis courts and add High School Gymnasium HVAC. District citizens can stop by the central office and sign the petition.
