The annual Fairfield community School Art Show will be held this Saturday and Sunday May 18th and 19th at Pence Elementary School from 12-4pm. Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend. The show will feature a hallway of “Teddy bears Picnic” by the Kindergartners, complete with animals in crayon and watercolor paints. 1st graders have created animals and monster sculptures, paintings and drawings. 2nd graders have a display that will take you to Mr. Monet’s garden in France and also will have story teller dolls made from clay, a Pueblo Indian tradition. 3rd and 4th graders will display their self-portraits and 4th graders have completed three dimension houses, masks and tiny real canvass paintings. The show will also feature many fun photo opportunities with cutouts of famous paintings to look through. Come ready to take some unique photos.
