Eldon Gothic Days

Gothic Days is an annual festival held in Eldon since 1970, celebrating the historic American Gothic House. The three day event festival features a street dance, parade, bags tournament, mud volleyball, kids activities and more!

Friday, June 7

Rock Island Park

• 6 PM – Free Hot Dogs (Sponsored by Moore’s Grocery Store)
• 6:30-9:30 PM – Street Dance with music from Cam Steinbach (sponsored by Libertyville Savings Bank)
• Chalk the sidewalk activity for kids

KD Center Park

• 6:30 PM – Mud Volleyball
• 6:30 PM – Lunch Lady Food Truck

Saturday, June 8

• 7-9:30 AM – Breakfast, Methodist Church
• 8 AM – 5K Run at the American Gothic House
• Art Show in the American Gothic House Center
• 10 AM – Parade
• 11 AM – Tom Johnson Memorial Car Show at Chommy’s

KD Center

• 11 AM – Allan McKeever Memorial Chicken Dinner
• 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM – Live Music from Lucas Beebe (Sponsored by Gothic Town Grillers & Chommy’s)
• 11:30 AM – Free kids games & inflatables (sponsored by B&B Propane, Nutrien AG Solutions, and Ace Graphics & Printing)
• 12:30 PM – Frog Jump
• 1:30 PM – Bags Tournament
