Covid hospitalizations have declined slightly now under 400 at 391, those in ICU remain fairly steady with 80 patients for the 24 period ending 10:00 a.m. Thursday. The 32 patients currently on ventilators keep that figure steady for the most part as well.
The overall decrease in hospitalizations is reflected locally as Jefferson County reports just 1, as does Keokuk and Van Buren Counties. The most came from Washington County with 4, which is still significantly lower than the past several months. Henry and Wapello have 2 each and there were zero to come from Davis County.
New Covid cases on Thursday showed Jefferson and Washington Counties up 4 each, 3 in Davis County and Van Buren County 2. Henry County is up 7 including their 32nd death and 25 from Wapello County. Keokuk County reported no new cases.
