Council Expected To Vote On Two-Way Restoration

The Fairfield City Council will meet in regular session tonight at 7pm where they are expected to take action on the consideration of the Fiscal Year 2019 Annual Urban Renewal Report. The big ticket item on tonight’s agenda is the consideration of Proposed Downtown Two-Way Restoration. Darien Sloat from the Chamber of Commerce and Terry Baker of the Wayfinding Commission and Convention and Visitors Bureau are expected to go before the Council in favor of the Restoration taking place. The Council is then expected to vote on the allocation of Undesignated Local Option Sales Tax Funds for specified Street Projects that includes the proposed two-way project.
