The Fairfield City Council met in a regular session on Monday night where they approved the fiscal year 2020 street finance report, this is an annual report, which upon approval gives the City opportunity to receive additional funding. The Council also accepted the Monroe Avenue paving project as final. The Crow Creek Bridge 28E Agreement with Jefferson County was approved, as transfer of jurisdiction must be turned over to the DOT before October 1st when the grant application is due. The grant would be good for 100% of the construction cost. The 3rd and final reading related to City Right of Way parking was held and passed; however, it will not be published until a permit process is in place. Trick or Treat night was approved for Saturday October 31st from 5:30-8pm.
