The annual Manufacturers Appreciation luncheon was held Wednesday at the Fairfield Golf and Country Club. The Luncheon offered members of the Fairfield Manufacturer’s Association a podium before the crowd to share information about trends, new developments, and other news regarding their company and products. Companies who provided updates at the luncheon included Creative Edge, who has spent a good portion of the last year investing in their business with upgrades to equipment, machinery and infrastructure. Dexter who celebrated their 125th anniversary this past August and recently published a history book highlighting those 125 years in business. Traffix Devices spoke about their expansion of a new 18,000 sq ft rota molding facility and five consecutive years of increased sales. Agri Industrial Plastics is planning on having a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday October 24th for their new solar project in conjunction with Ideal Energy, in which Governor Reynolds plans to attend.
