(6/19) Complaint Prompts City To Look at Cafe Paradiso Outdoor Dining Fencing

After a complaint from a Fairfield resident regarding the sidewalk around Café Paradiso, and the lack of space for pedestrians because of their outdoor dining fencing, the City of Fairfield has investigated and determined that the fenced in area around Café Paradiso is different from what was approved by the city on their application. City Administrator Mike Harmon says the city has met with the owner and are working out a resonable solution.

According to the city’s outdoor dining ordinance, “A sidewalk café must be arranged in a manner that leaves an unobstructed and continuous walkway of a minimum of four feet on a public sidewalk.”
