(8/16) One Airlifted To The Hospital After A Car/Motorcycle Accident In Mt. Pleasant

An accident in front of Hy-Vee in Mount Pleasant yesterday resulted in one needing to be airlifted to the hospital. According to the Iowa State Patrol, Joshua Adam Bradley 23 of New London was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle in the east bound lanes of Washington Street when Betty Lou Binning 85 of Mt. Pleasant attempted to make a left turn from the west bound lanes with her Lincoln Town Car and turned in front of the path of Bradley. The vehicles collided in the east bound lanes. Bradley was thrown from the motorcycle. The Town Car spent out and hit a parked car. Bradley was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Binning was transported to Henry County Health Center by ambulance.
