Jada Rudd is the 5th grade Student of the Month. She works hard to improve her own
learning and demonstrates Trojan PRIDE. She volunteers to help out with things around the classroom whether it's assisting another student or cleaning up around the classroom. She always has a positive attitude and is always making new friends. Jada is kind and respectful to everyone: peers, teachers, and other school staff. She always participates in class and gives everything her 100% effort.
Ashton Lankford has been selected as the 5th grade Student of the Month for January. Ashton displays good work habits. He always puts good effort into his work. All of his assignments are done with care, and he is always prepared for tests and quizzes. He is responsible for getting assignments turned in on time and getting his assignment journal signed. Ashton is a team player. When working with his peers: he contributes to his group, listens to the ideas of his classmates, and helps those that may be struggling. Ashton is a good example of a student that displays Trojan PRIDE! Congratulations Ashton!
The 6th grade team is excited to honor Phoenix Haessler as Student of the Month. Phoenix enjoys learning, reads voraciously, helps others, participates in extra-curricular activities, and always tries her best. She goes above and beyond expectations in the classroom, sometimes even bringing in relevant information from home to share with teachers and students on various topics they're studying. Phoenix consistently shows a positive attitude and is a joy to have in class. Congratulations, Phoenix!
The 6th grade team is pleased to announce that Simon Dalton has been selected as the sixth grade student of the month for January. Simon works extremely well with others and has a positive attitude towards learning and sharing each day. He is a hard-working student who challenges himself to think outside the box and do his best at all times. Congratulations Simon!
Emily Hanna is a wonderful asset to any classroom. She is always positive, helpful, and a great personality. Emily has a tendency to want to help others so that they succeed. She also works well with teams, and encourages everyone to do their best. Emily gives 100% and then some, when she is working, helping, or just being herself.
Mitchell Taglauer has been selected as Student of the Month for many reasons. Mitchell
always has a positive attitude toward others. He cares about his schoolwork and is diligent about turning in completed assignments on time. If he has the opportunity to fix an assignment, he eagerly and willingly completes the task. He gets along and works well with others. Mitchell's good humor is appreciated by all who have the opportunity to work with him. Mitchell Taglauer is a genuine model of F.M.S. Trojan PRIDE.
Kiera Nelson has been selected as our eighth grade student of the month for January. Kiera always comes prepared to class, with a great attitude and a smile on her face. She works well independently, with a partner or in a group. She is honest and dependable, and her classmates know they can count on Kiera to do the right thing. Kiera Nelson is a great role
model for our younger students. Congratulations, Kiera!
The Eighth Grade Team is pleased to announce that Dakota Andersen has been chosen as Student of the Month. Dakota is known for his hard work, dedication and leadership within the eighth grade class. He recently attended the Southeast Iowa Honor Band and was chosen to attend the Iowa State Honor Band as well. Dakota is a pleasure to work with in and out of the classroom and is a fine, young gentleman.
