Multi-platinum country star Terri Clark brings her Roots and Wings Unplugged tour to the Sondheim Center, Thursday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. for an evening with the accomplished singer/songwriter/guitarist in an intimate setting. Named for her most recent LP release, Roots and Wings Unplugged will feature Clark going solo with just her guitars, her strong sense of humor, an arsenal of hit songs and new material many will be hearing for the first time.
Terri Clark has released more than 20 singles, including six number one hits including, "If I Were You," "Poor Poor Pitiful Me," "Emotional Girl," "In My Next Life," "Girls Lie too," and "You're Easy on the Eyes." She released her newest record, "Roots and Wings" on July 26, 2011.
To the casual fan, Terri Clark is a staple when it comes to listing off female country artists they've heard of. For the rest of country music fans, beyond the millions of albums sold and an innumerable amount of awards and recognition lies a resilient, real talent who reminds us that life truly is an adventure.
Terri Clark is arguably one of the most influential performers of our time. Even with all her success, you won't hear her brag about it. "I love letting people know and see that I am just an every day girl, with a not so every day job, but I don't feel a 'disconnect' with my audience just because I am on the stage…I feel like we are all there to have a great time, myself included, and usually, that is what happens."
Terri Clark's ability to reinvent herself while returning to the sound that first brought her to us once again demonstrates the versatility of this one-of-a-kind entertainer.
To be more concise, "She's still got it."
