The Lord’s Cupboard’s 2017 L.O.A.F. Program will begin May 31, 2017.  The L.O.A.F. Program helps feed school-aged kids who depend on free breakfasts and lunches during the school year.  Through L.O.A.F., low-income families can visit the Lord’s Cupboard once a week during the summer and receive a small bag of easily prepared foods for the kids.  Families also receive a small voucher for kid-friendly foods good at the Fairfield Hy-Vee.
To be eligible for The L.O.A.F. Program, Jefferson County families must either be current Lord’s Cupboard clients or must meet income guidelines as listed on their Facebook page and on their website at www.LordsCupboard.org.
The Lord’s Cupboard is located at the corner of 4th Street and Grimes Avenue in Fairfield and is open Monday through Friday, 1:00 – 4:00pm.  This summertime program does not affect the daily food pantry program, and existing clients do not need to reapply for services.
