(12/6) Authorities Bust A Drug Ring, 5 Arrest



Authorities in southeast Iowa pulled resources to bust open a drug ring. Three search warrants were conducted yesterday as a result 5 arrest were made. Mark Glaha 40 of New London was charged with conspiracy to deliver over 5 grams of methamphetamine. Glaha faces 25 years in prison if convicted. Jeremy Allen, 32 and Jolynn Allen 36 of New London both charged with conspiracy to deliver over 5 grams of methamphetamine and child endangerment. Both Allens face up to 30 years in prison if convicted. Greg Baxter, 30 of Mediapolis was charged with conspiracy to deliver over 5 grams of methamphetamine, possession marijuana with the intent to deliver, child endangerment, drug tax stamp for large amount of methamphetamine, drug tax stamp for large amounts of marijuana. Baxter faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted.
Morgan Ledbetter was charged with conspiracy to deliver over 5 grams of methamphetamine, child endangerment, drug tax stamp for large amounts of marijuana. Ledbetter faces up to 35 years in prison if convicted. Further charges are expected in this case.
